First Presbyterian Day School is interested in the uniqueness of every student. Recognizing that children have different learning abilities and learning styles and may require various levels of support, the school offers the Instructional Support Program to tailor make assistance for the individual student.

• Wechsler Abbreviated Scale of Intelligence (gives an I.Q. score and highlights possible learning problems)
• Devereux Behavior Scale (Rates behavior, emotional, learning and attention problems)
• Conner's Rating Scale (rates behavior, emotional, learning and attention problems)
• Beck Depression Scale (test for depression)
• Beck Anxiety Scale (tests level of anxiety)
• Gray's Oral Reading Test (gives reading comprehension quotient) 
• Gray's Silent Reading Test (gives reading comprehension quotient)
