FPD has a rich heritage of student involvement in the arts. From the spring musicals and one-act plays in the fall to the band and dance team presentations at football games, FPD offers students a wide array of artistic expressions. Our students compete in dramatic and literary competitions at regional and state levels, participate in various festivals and workshops throughout the Southeast, and showcase their talents in school and local presentations.
A variety of hands-on art classes are offered from elementary through senior high. Our journalism team develops and produces our school newspaper, The Saga, and manages our yearbook and other promotional materials. Separate Christmas and spring concerts for the lower and upper schools provide opportunity to highlight student development in singing, drama and instrumentation. Our fine arts teachers are deeply committed to presenting Christ through the arts and developing the creative potential of each student. Creative opportunities abound at FPD!
