The Louise Holmes Jones Library holdings include over 14,000 fiction, non-fiction and reference books, 60 print periodical subscriptions, and GALILEO, Georgia’s award winning virtual library of licensed databases, for the students. There are also 24 networked computers in the research lab which offers electronic access for our students.

Use of Library
Students are encouraged to use the library before and after school for research and individual study. Passes are required for students to use the library during class periods.
Use of Computers
The computer lab in the media center is available for students to use any time during school hours, except when the lab is reserved for use by a class. All patrons must have on file a signed copy of the school’s Acceptable Use Policy regarding the use of technology and must abide by that policy.
Circulation Policies
Students may check out books for a two week period. Checkouts may be renewed unless another patron has reserved the book. Reference books must be used in the media center.
Fines
Fines will be charged for overdue books ($.10 per school day). Students are responsible for lost and damaged materials. Students may not check out additional items until all overdue materials are cleared. |
