On Saturday morning at Stratford Academy, the FPD boys capped their undefeated season with a State Championship while placing four members (Kelley Sanders, Scott Cope, Jonathan Anderson, and Chad Bacon) on the All-State Team.

"The reason we were victorious today is team depth. Our 5th, 6th & 7th (John Tankard, Matt Ozment, & Joby Peake) runners beat the Riversideís 4th runner. That was the difference. The members of our team worked hard all summer to make this day possible.î
-Coach Chad McDaniel

The girls team completed their season with a third place finish and established themselves as the top team in Middle Georgia. Erin Colunga earned All-State honors by finishing 4th overall.
